Can I book from September to December or January to May only?

If you are only in college in Sligo for First or Second semester due to work experience etc we may be able to offer accommodation. A limited number of rooms are available for half term. Please contact us to check availability.

Can I have Friends staying over?

Occasionally yes, but not on a regular basis. All Guests must be registered in reception before arrival.

Can I obtain the apartment number details before check in?

No, the apartment/ house details will be issued to you on arrival.

Can I park my car at Yeats Village?

Yes, parking is limited and you are requested to park in designated parking spaces only, do not park on the roadside as you will be obstructing access.

How are flat mates allocated?

If you have one friend you wish to share with, The Management will Endeavour but not guarantee to accommodate you provided this request is clearly shown on both application forms at the time of application. Otherwise a lottery system applies to the allocation of roommates, it is usual practice to group students together, 1st years with 1st years or Science students with Science students etc, etc.

How can I book a room at Yeats Village?

Contact info@yeatsvillage.net for the current application form. Once received - complete and return the application form, together with the booking deposit.

How do I make a payment?

Payments can be made by: Card (in person or over the phone) Bank Transfer Bank Draft - made payable to Yeats Village Management Ltd. Unfortunately we do not accept Cheques as form of payment.

I have only paid the booking deposit, when is the balance due?

The balance is due before Friday 25 August 2021. No keys will be issued until the first payment has been received in full.

If I leave before the end of the academic year, what happens?

The student is liable to pay the rent for the full academic year. No refunds of rental will be made in the case of early departure.

If we have a problem in our apartment what do we do?

Call directly to our office and our onsite maintenance team will rectify the matter as soon as we possibly can.

Is insurance for my belongings provided by The Management?

No, you must take out your own cover for your possessions. We recommend having the family household policy extended to cover the personal effects away from home. Contact the ITSSU for further details on insurance.

Is there a Laundry on site?

There is a self-service Laundry beside the Booking Office, located in the Centre of the Complex.

Is there an internet connection in the apartments?

There is full WiFi access throughout Yeats Village. The internet facility is provided for you on the basis that it will not be abused, if illegal downloads, torrents etc are detected the service will be terminated.

Is there security on site?

Yes, Security are on site together with CCTV.

What are the accommodation office opening hours?

The Accommodation Office hours are 9 to 5pm Monday to Friday, we close for lunch between 1-2pm. The office is closed Saturday and Sunday but a contact telephone number is available for emergency assistance out of hours.

What different types of accommodation and rooms do you have?

House (6 students occupying; 4 x Single Standard Rooms, 1 x Twin En suite room) Individual applications not accepted for a house. At this stage you must have a minimum of 5 students applying to take the house (landlords reference required for any student currently not resident in Yeats). 3 Bed apartment (3 students occupying; 3 x Single En suite Rooms) 2 Bed apartment (3 students occupying; 1 x Single En suite, 1 x Twin En suite room)

What do I do with my rubbish?

Refuse bins are located throughout the complex, recycling bins are also available and we encourage you to make full use of these.

What happens if I fail to be offered a place in IT Sligo?

If the Applicant is not successful in the 1st round CAO offers, the Applicant must cancel IN WRITING not later than 5pm on Friday 19 August 2021. Cancellations can also be made by e-mail – _emai1_info@yeatsvillage.net_email2_ In the event of following the above cancellation procedure, €100 administration fee will be deducted from the Booking Deposit and the remainder refunded. Should a student cancel after this time then the whole deposit will be withheld.

When are the 2nd and subsequent payments due?

The 2nd payment is due on or before 12 November 2021. The 3rd and final payment due on or before 04 February 2022. Keys are updated following each payment.

Are there apartment checks?

Yes, checks will be carried out every 4 weeks; only internal common areas of each apartment/ house will be inspected.
